I have the misfortune of spending many nights in hotels around the world for work so I was absolutely delighted to finally stay in a house that was quite unique, staffed by real people - all of whom had a smile on their face and always had time to chat - and who genuinely cared that we were being looked after in the best possible manner. Grays Court feels like a home, not a hotel, and we felt like house guests rather than paying punters. I cannot tell you what a wonderful change that makes! “What a hidden gem! We're not telling anyone about it! They'll all want to come and feel like royalty otherwise. The Cumberland Suite is beautiful with views of gardens to make Alan Titchmarsh jealous. The walk-in shower was fab. All in all a place to be savoured and remembered.
