David O'Neill - A Life Behind The Lens

Sunday 1st July 2018, 1.00pm to 4.00pm

Home-Start York introduces David O'Neill, the former Mail on Sunday Chief Photographer for an intimate afternoon to discover his life behind the lens.

There are some photographs a photographer never forgets taking, however long ago it was ....

David has photographed the likes of George Adamson the legendary lion conservationist of Born Free fame, Chris Bonnington, many celebrities and scenes from infamous places like Kosovo and Sarajevo. His tales behind these photographs will keep you entertained all afternoon.

Arrival drinks will be served in the grounds of the beautiful Grays Court Hotel followed by a choice of either a traditional afternoon tea or a gentleman's afternoon tea.

An auction of one of David's framed photographs will take place during the afternoon to help with fund raising for Home-Start York.
