Rooms
Grays Court York is a boutique hotel and heritage property in York, with seven individually designed bedrooms, furnished with an eclectic mix of period elegance and modern luxury. Unique, intimate and with an unbeatable location, we look forward to welcoming you to our ‘country house in the city’.
Unlike so many other City centre hotels our guests are more likely to hear our resident owl rather than traffic and will awaken to the sound of birdsong and the Minster Bells, chiming from eight o’clock in the morning. Situated next to York Minster, with historic views and only a minute-away from the City’s quaint boutiques and medieval labyrinth of streets (known here as ‘Snickelways’) a stay at Grays Court will be one to remember.
Many of our bedrooms have historic views onto the Minster and York’s City Walls and all have modern, luxurious bathrooms and complimentary Clarins products for our guests to use. We offer a choice of goose-down or hypo-allergenic duvets and an elegant mix of thoughtfully-sourced antique furniture that we hope our guests will get as much pleasure out of as we do. Room rates include a hearty breakfast served in the dining room.
